Welcome to Hillcroft Collies! We are a hobby kennel located in the Virginia foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. We have been breeding and exhibiting AKC registered rough collies for over 10 years and are dedicated to producing dogs that are true to the standard. It is our goal at Hillcroft to breed and raise not only beautiful collies that are competitive in the conformation ring, but those that make wonderful companions and family members, too.

As a young girl, I fell in love with the collie breed watching Lassie. In 2007, a dream came true when I met Lassie at the Collie Club of America National! Three collies (my aunt's, a family friend's, and a neighbor's) made an indelible impression on me with their loyalty, calmness, and overall wonderful demeanor. I knew they would always be a part of my life!
We currently have one adult in the show ring searching for her last major and three young prospects who will debut this fall. In addition, we have our newly finished champion and a dog who, even with 9 points towards his championship, has been retired. He really hated being shown and we believe a dog's worth is more than just his or her ability to finish their championship.
In addition to our conformation ring successes, we have also worked with our collie Ben (Hillcroft Ablaze) as a therapy dog. He visits nursing homes and will pull a wagon in parades. He is a true all 'round collie! He is pictured below with his wagon and visiting a special senior.
